Why is Mary Magdalene & The Divine Feminine Rising

In the vast tapestry of history and spirituality, few figures hold as strong a charge as Mary Magdalene. Often misunderstood and misrepresented, she stands as a powerful embodiment of divine love and a beacon of the rising Divine Feminine. As we delve into her story, we uncover layers of wisdom and healing that speak to the very essence of who we are. And while her story is closely connected to Christianity, it is her archetypal wisdom that is most potent, and not the simple viewing of her within the context of an organized religion. It is always important to remember that when she was preaching and teaching, it was in alignment with a specific religion, but rather, about “the Good.”*

Embodiment of Divine Love

Mary Magdalene's essence is one of pure, unconditional love. This love, symbolized by the rose, is both gentle and fierce. It nurtures and heals while standing strong against the degradation of the feminine. In Mary Magdalene, we find a passionate love that holds steady amidst injustice and champions the reclamation of divine union - of both the masculine and feminine.

Connection to Water and Heart Awakening

Her name, Mary, is from the root of Mer, or “of the sea.” Magdalene is connected to the world Magdala, or “Watchtower.” Magdala was an ancient city located on the western shore of the Sea of Galilee (also known as Lake Tiberias) in present-day Israel. The town's proximity to the sea is the second link between Magdalene and the sea. Closely linked to Mary Magdalene is the element of water, representing the emotional currents that flow within us, the potential for healing, and the capacity for profound transformation. Through her water connection, Mary Magdalene invites us to dive deep into our hearts, awakening and healing the emotional wounds that keep us from our true selves.

Path of Emotional Self-Mastery

Mary Magdalene teaches us the path of emotional self-mastery. She guides us to recognize that emotions themselves are not our truth; our truth is love. This love is not just any love but a divine, unconditional love that transcends all human limitations. Her teachings show how to alchemize our anger and pain into a more expansive frequency of love, demonstrating that even our most intense emotions can be transformed into something beautiful and powerful. The magick and our medicine often reside within our challenges and wounds.

Sacred Union and Reclamation

It is interesting also to recognize that Mary Magdalene was not merely one of the Apostles, but Yeshua’s (Jesus’) partner, sitting by his side and performing healing and mystical work together. It would have been unusual for a Jewish rabbi like Jesus to be unmarried during these times, and to see him as an unmarried teacher does not hold true to historical traditions. Although the church has not acknowledged her role in this way, their relationship exemplifies the sacred union of the feminine and masculine—a partnership that transcends the physical and enters the realm of the divine.

This union serves as a powerful reminder of the balance and harmony between the masculine and feminine energies within ourselves and our relationships. It urges us to remember and reclaim the power of the feminine in our lives and societies to restore this sacred balance. Mary was neither subordinate to Yeshua nor dominant over him; they completed each other’s work and were in a symbiosis of love, and harmony.

The Gospel of Mary: Path of the Heart

In the Gospel of Mary, we find a path centered on the heart and love. This ancient text reveals Mary Magdalene's teachings, emphasizing the way of the heart as the true path to spiritual enlightenment and healing. Through her teachings, we learn that the heart holds the key to our awakening and that love is the ultimate truth.

However, the Gospel of Mary was deliberately suppressed and (partially) destroyed by the early Church. This sacred text, which holds profound wisdom and insight, was hidden, excluded from the Bible, and buried by ecclesiastical authorities. The suppression of the Gospel of Mary reflects the broader effort to diminish the role and power of the feminine in spiritual traditions.

Despite these attempts to erase her voice, the wisdom of Mary Magdalene endures. Her teachings continue to inspire and guide those who seek a deeper understanding of divine love and the sacred feminine. By embracing the truths found in the Gospel of Mary, we reconnect with a long-forgotten aspect of our spiritual heritage and reclaim the power of the feminine in our lives and societies.

Collective Healing and Awakening

The rise of the Divine Feminine is not just an individual journey; it is a collective awakening. Mary Magdalene's story inspires us to heal not only ourselves but also the world around us. By embracing the sacred union within—balancing our own masculine and feminine energies—we contribute to the healing of the collective consciousness.

Healing here is not to be understood as "fixing" something that is broken, lost, or wounded. Instead, healing is more about embarking on an inward journey, peeling away the layers that have accumulated over us—whether from society, our families, our heritage, our ancestors' experiences, cultural beliefs, and more. In doing so, we gently move closer to our heart's love and authenticity, revealing the true essence of our soul and existence.

Reclaiming Feminine Power

For centuries, the feminine has been suppressed, its power and wisdom hidden away. Mary Magdalene's resurgence in modern spirituality signifies a reclamation and remembrance of this power.

Mystery School Teachings

Mary Magdalene and Yeshua attended what is known as a mystery school, a journey of self-discovery, enlightenment, healing, and transformation through the secrets of the universe. A Mystery School can manifest as a physical space, but its true significance lies in being a spiritual pathway that protects and propagates these teachings within a secure and sacred container. These schools delve into the realm of mysteries, probing the depths that underlie our very existence.

Through their teachings at the mystery school, Mary Magdalene and Yeshua offered profound spiritual insights and practices. They guided those around them to navigate the complexities of life and live in alignment with divine love. This sacred knowledge passed down through their union, continues to inspire and empower truth seekers.

Mary Magdalene stands two thousand years later as a symbol of the Divine Feminine rising. Her legacy is one of love, healing, and empowerment. As we embrace her teachings and embody the teachings she gave, we step into our true essence and contribute to the healing and awakening of the world.

"The Good" in this context is often interpreted as a reference to a transcendent, ultimate source of goodness and truth, which aligns with Gnostic beliefs about the divine and the nature of reality.
